Codex Fair Use Policy

To ensure the best experience for all Codex members, we ask that you observe the following guidelines regarding the "fair use" of the WordPress Codex.

Codex volunteers are NOT paid 

Volunteers give of their time and expertise to document WordPress. They are not paid or rewarded in any way. If you have found the Codex useful, consider becoming a volunteer yourself.

Spam, unwanted links, advertising, and inappropriate language will be deleted 

While the Codex is fairly casual, unwanted, inappropriate, offensive, or personal material will be deleted immediately and users banned. Signatures in articles will be considered spam and deleted.

Information must be related to WordPress 

Contributions must be related to WordPress. All other topics are subject to deletion.
