Description

Displays the text of a comment.

Use get_comment_text to retrieve the value.

Usage

 <?php comment_text( $comment_ID ); ?> 

Example

Displays the comment text with the comment author in a list (<li>) tag. 

<li>Comment by <?php comment_author(); ?>:<br /> 
<?php comment_text(); ?></li>

Parameters

comment_ID
(integer) (optional) The ID of the comment for which to print the text.
Default: 0 (the current comment)

Filters

apply_filters() Passes the comment content through the 'comment_text' hook before display
