Simple PHP Gallery

SPG is a photo gallery system released under the Creative Commons License and is freely available at relativelyABSOLUTE.com No longer available.

The author (Paul Griffin) has now packaged up SPG to be easily integrated into WordPress. Visit the above-listed site for more information. 'Version 1.1 WP' is not yet compatible with WordPress 1.5 but it can be modified to work.

A few people have taken Paul Griffin's SPG and have continued working with it and have developed an enhanced version. It has all of the features of SPG as well as some new functionality. You can find out more by visiting Quirm.net

Update: eSPG 2.0 Released

Enhanced Simple PHP Gallery is an open source software module originally designed as a simple way to post photos online. With version 2.0, it has been completely overhauled to support detailed annotation ("footnotes") of objects (such as artwork or photos), including citations, dimensions, latitude/longitude and other identification metadata. The latest version is maintained by the development team at Point B Studio.
