First edition will be something of a copy of some USER:MDAWaffe/Administration Panels Administration Panels stuff --MDAWaffe 07:29, 21 Feb 2005 (GMT)

Super! Carthik 07:54, 21 Feb 2005 (GMT)

In response to Task Based Documentation, I'm trying to rework this page. I'd also like the XFN moved to another location: USER:MDAWaffe/XFN (moved to Defining_Relationships_with_XFN Carthik 18:58, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC) ) --MDAWaffe

Is this panel working as it is supposed to? In Firefox 1.5.4, every time I type into the "rel" field, the characters I type are removed. The only rel values I seem to be able to add are those that are created with the XFN creator.

And I take it back. Having it all on one page seems fine (after I got rid of XFN - see above) --MDAWaffe 11:00, 21 Feb 2005 (GMT)

This line "Currently, neither the Kubrick Theme (http://boren.nu/archives/2004/10/10/kubrick-130-rc2/) nor the classic theme displays the RSS URI." makes one think that the RSS URI can be displayed. However, I couldn't find any Links Template Tag that would enable one to display it. So either this line should be changed, or the appropriate Links Template Tag should be changed to show the parameter that will display the RSS URI. --User KathyP 01:47, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Indeed, there are no template tags to display the RSS URI. The RSS URI, when stored, makes for a more useful .opml export - which can then be imported to a reader. Thank you for the feedback!

Actually, there is an option in get_links() or wp_links() (can't recall the name offhand) that you can display either the text RSS with a link, or an image (path also an option) with a link. Correct me if I'm wrong. shorty114 06:23, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Ah, never mind. I must have mixed it up with the sort option. You can sort the links by RSS when you call get_links. shorty114 06:25, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

OPML Import

Is there any documentation about which OPML-extensions WordPress expects at an import? XNeo 19:13, 15 Jun 2006 (GMT)

Working on copy edit...

I got through one section, still working on the rest, feel free to jump in but I'll probably get back to it in the next day or two too.

Updating Links Manager Page

I've worked on the first sections of this page to try to update it and add screenshots. Please edit away and I'll learn more about updating these kinds of codex pages.

I wasn't sure if I should remove references to this page, as it is out of date. http://codex.wordpress.org/Manage_Links_SubPanel

So I kept some and removed some others that didn't seem necessary.

More updates and question

I added a couple of screen shots on Link Categories and removed references to the old Link Category Sub Panel and updated them to this Links Link Categories Screen page. It would seem that the delete section, and import links (deprecated?) sections could be removed with a reference to this page Links Link Categories Screen. Would this be the right thing to do?

Removed sections and question

I removed the delete category section and made a reference to the Link Categories screen. Also I that this page is now up to date so should I remove the out of date flag?

Mickfuzz 12:09, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks Mickfuzz - I removed the obsolete message and changed the category. Also added a link to the article from Administration_Screens#Links_-_Putting_the_Inter_in_the_Internet. --MichaelH (talk) 13:30, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
