Curtiss is the Webmaster at a community college in Virginia. In that capacity, he admins a single Wordpress installation on one site and a Wordpress MU installation on another. He also single-handedly developed the PHP/MySQL content management system being used for the College Web site and spends much of his professional time developing and improving the features within.

He has formally studied PHP and MySQL development and is in the process of attaining certification in both areas.

In his spare time, Curtiss posts regularly on the HTMLCenter blog, guest posts occasionally on the CenterNetworks blog, runs multiple hobby Web sites and runs a small independent Web development company. He is also a staunch supporter of YaBB Forum Software, is a team member on the YaBB support forums and is quickly becoming a vocal advocate for both Wordpress and Wordpress MU.

He has often considered developing new plugins for Wordpress, but usually finds that multiple plugins already exist to accomplish the desired task.
