My name is Doug McHone and I run a blog over at CoffeeSwirls.com. For the record, I am no PHP guru, but am a rabid WordPress supporter. I joined the Codex so I could throw out a few suggestions for future versions.

And since I love WP, let me tell you that it has saved my marriage. A couple years ago, I would stay up until midnight to update my blog for the following day. When my then-blogging software ended the free releases, I did the homework and came to WP. The things that WP does that costly programs do not do make it all worthwhile and I'm joining my wife in bed at a decent hour once again!
