I am a new fan of Wordpress and the lights are recently on regarding its infinite extensibility. Since reading some of the documentation and tutorials, whilst they are excellent in parts, clearly we need more help.

I am not terrible with HTML and CSS. I am a stranger to Javascript but studied a little Java. PHP is becoming familiar and is not a terribly distant relative anyway. I do a little VBA and slightly technical documentation.
