Hi, If you are installing WordPress through a vDeck 3.0 control panel such as used by iPower and others be aware you must enable CGI. This also enables PHP on the server which you must have to run WordPress. I recommend doing this before starting the install as it sometimes takes up to an hour for it to propagate. To enable CGI in vDeck: log in to your vDeck

scroll down to "CGI and Scripted Language Support" and click on it

at the next screen click the button "Enable CGI"

you will get a message stating "Your cgi-bin directory will be available within the next several minutes."

At this point you can install your blog

Note - on same page you can access the mysql database link on the left hand menu

Also, if you are getting this error when trying to run "install.php"- "The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request" - the CGI has NOT been enabled.

Hope this helps some.
