For lack of a better title, this is currently "Forum Rules".

The WordPress Support Forums are made available, free of charge, for the express purpose of helping users with WordPress problems. That's a pretty big umbrella, and a lot of things can reasonably be considered "WordPress problems": PHP, CSS, XHTML, hosting, technical diagnostics, and a whole lot more. It will be impossible to enumerate all permissible subjects; but generally speaking if it has to do with WordPress it's probably acceptable.

Some things are strictly off-limits. It will be impossible to enumerate all restricted subjects. Some examples include, but are not limited to:

• abuse
• affiliate links to any web sites
• posts having nothing to do with WordPress-related issues (e.g.: politics)

In addition, certain discussions should be directed and discussed in the relevent channels:

• Security related issues should be sent to security@wordpress.org
• Issues related to daily/development builds should be discussed in the wp-testers mailing list
• Discussions regarding the forums themselves should be discussed in the wp-forums mailing list

Posts may be edited or deleted at the discretion of a Moderator
