Personal Targets

I try to get the best out of my WordPress installation and work around several design problems within the WordPress Templates specification and plugins that are coded in bad XHTML or aren't coded in XHTML. At the moment I try to make a new step in designing wordpress with CSS2.1 and XHTML 1.0 strict, but as you can imagine, it's very hard because of several limitations that WP gives.

Wishes

add_filter() problems in several plugins solution

Well, I wish WP would have a better add_filter() handling, because several plugins use add_filter() without priorityflag. This causes several problems when the output is generated, like nonfunction plugins or messed up posts.

Codex for local work

Another wish is a downloadable version of the Codex ^^. I'm on a expensive dial-up connection and a local Codex would help me. A MySQL or XML dump of the articles, pages and categories would be nice. Well, just a dream. ^^

Well, I got a link for downloading PDFs of the Codex. Well, thats not what I want to have (Ok, I would like to have.). I thought about an XML/MySQL dump to import in one of my local MediaWiki installations, so I can browse the Codex offline on my local Apache. ^^ Would make more sense for me, because its searchable, I can click through pages like in here and so on. Hope this wish could be realized some day, like Wikipedia.org did. (Yeah, got a full database copy from Wikipedia some days ago, thanks to my friend with the T3 connection.)
