Hiatus

Not going to be around for awhile. Feel free to do whatever with any of the articles in my user space. --MDAWaffe 06:11, 23 Feb 2005 (GMT)

Have fun and come back soon! We will miss you terrible! Lorelle 14:55, 23 Feb 2005 (GMT)

Welcome Back!

Well, you stirred up a lot of dust! Thank you. I was going bonkers.

Also, I have a favor - this one isn't personal - it's codex. I've been screwing around with the Previous Post and next post template tags for a couple of days and the Codex parameters just aren't working right. I've posted a bunch of notes in the discussion, but no one's taken a look yet. You're really up on the tags, so could you take a peek and see what's going on so we can fix this page if it needs it, or at least better explain what is going on. People love these tags, so I want to make them work right. Thanks!! Lorelle 03:44, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Welcome SysOp

Hi!

You have been made a sysop, as can be seen at Special:Listadmins!! Please read about your new rights and privileges at [1]. We all hope you can start helping out with taking responsible decisions with respect to the maintenance of Codex, the trimming of pages, protecting and moving pages etc. Please use your best judgement, and if in doubt, ask the other sysops through email, or through their userpages. Should you have any problems doing any of the actions you should now be able to do, please let me, or another sysop know.

Welcome back hiatus boy

Psst! Preferences > User data, "Your nickname (for signatures)". It's just that easy, though not easily noticed.

Welcome back! I put in

to get the sig to where it is right now. Kim's sig, and your comment tickled me, I guess :)

Administration Panels

What's the status of the administration panel articles? Are they read to go? I'm just getting ready to post new article requested by WP-Docs User:Lorelle/First Steps With WordPress and I'd like to link to these panels for step by step info. Thanks! Lorelle 15:54, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I know of the extended blocking, but was thinking perhaps this guys is using proxies/servers and so I just blocked him for a day. Aside: You have new mail :)

Time for Article on Switching Templates

Our conversation on generating a different template based upon category is heating up again at http://wordpress.org/support/topic.php?id=27073. Time for an article on this...as if you don't have enough to do ;-). It's brilliant stuff and much needed. Lorelle 21:16, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Moving

I moved in everything in the Admin Panel area except for Import_Links_SubPanel which I've assigned to the task list, leaving it where it is for now. Thanks again for the brilliant work on all these. Lorelle 03:35, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Codex Cleanup Week June 18-26

REMINDER

WE NEED YOU!

Codex Cleanup Week is Saturday, June 18 through Sunday, June 26. This is a major push to clean up the Codex and stuff it full of great documenation so we can relax a little this summer.

Thanks for everything you do! Lorelle 21:52, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

WP Architecture: pluggable funcs documentation

Great work, but I think the documentation for the pluggable functions would sit more naturally on a page of their own, which I can link to. Actually, if you do that, I'll probably just get rid of the list on my page as it is, then link to your pluggable functions page. -- DavidHouse - talk.

Update: I've moved these to Pluggable_Functions with an intro and example. DavidHouse 13:48, 25 Jul 2005 (UTC)
