I would like to modify this and related documentation to clarify just what "Next" and "Previous" mean in the context of the next/previous posts. It had been my belief that this was based on the ID of the post. In actuality, it's the post date, which is not immediately obvious.

When using this and related functions to browse through Pages (rather than Posts) then it is important for the content creator to know this. Pages created at a later date can be back-dated to appear in the proper sequence.
