description vs. user_description?

Good question! It made me curious so I did a little research. The answer (as I suspected) is that there is no difference. Before WP 2.0.0, user_description was a field in the wp_users table. Since 2.0, that field was removed, and the data is now stored in the wp_usermeta table, with the key 'description'. Since very few folks are probably dealing with WP versions prior to 2.0.0, I'm going to remove user_description from the list on this page.
