RPC 3299

I was assuming that "RPC 3299" was supposed to be "RFC 3299", but that doesn't seem to make sense either. Can someone explain what this feature is supposed to be? I have a vague recollection that maybe it's related to RSS enclosures? DougalCampbell 15:03, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

It's RFC 3229 not 3299 as written above. It is basically a more advanced caching system. For example, browser requests a page where there has been a very small change, normally the site returns the entire page -- RFC 3229 allows returning of just the changes (delta) and the browser combines changes with its cache of the page. -- Boneill 09:31, 31 May 2005 (UTC)

Customized RSS Feeds

I'm pulling for being able to customize the RSS feed to include an image, and perhaps support additional options through the admin interface. If nothing else, having the WordPress logo as the default feed image will increase awareness among users of feed aggregators that choose to load the image. Free publicity! I completely do agree with that. What are chances this makes 1.6? --Markush

WYSIWYG for Wordpress ?!

I have found a WYSIWYG Plugin for Wordpress, will this be implemented in 1.6? Szhou 22:57, 1 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Crossed out items in new features list

There are some items crossed out in the new features list. Does this mean they won't be implemented in 1.6? Christiaan 22:58, 24 Jul 2005 (UTC)

It usually means these things have been done and are in the version, though this is subject to change at any moment during development. Lorelle 23:47, 24 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Crossed out items are those which have already been implemented by the developers in the as-yet-unreleased next version of WordPress. --MDAWaffe - Talk 23:48, 24 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Import Links From Del.icio.us

Would this be a good feature to be able to import links from Del.icio.us? I know there is already alot of plugins for this: Plugins/Delicious but this would be a cool idea.
