This page has a couple of misleading statements that could be clarified, especially as regards the the differences between 2.8+ and previous. Under the section "Developing New Widgets", should we assume that stuff is no longer valid or deprecated? What is the difference between "register_widget" and "register_sidebar_widget"? I'm seeing an input field inserted into the Example (http://codex.wordpress.org/Widgets_API#Example) instead of the code being printed. History suggests it's been there for a while but I suspect it might be browser/OS specific as I've never noticed before. I'm using Chrome on Ubuntu 12.04 - can someone please test other browsers? Thanks. Philip John
