I have just started using wordpress and learning about it. I am commissioning a new commercial plugin for it later this year.

I have worked in the computer industry since graduating with a degree in computer science in 1986. These days I primarily work in Java writing enterprise systems such as www.towergames.com My first attempt at creating a wordpress site myself is for my barbershop chorus www.sunshinestatesmen.org.au

I have an aptitude for documentation (don't tell anybody I actually work for !) and can be pretty diligent in fixing up wiki's that have missing pieces or, more importantly, failed to cross reference enough.

So, as I peruse the codex to help me learn more about wordpress, and annoy everyone on the forum with incessant questions, I will ensure what I learn is codified in the documentation.
