This is Garry Chahal, I am in web development field since 1999. I started developing websites using Wordpress platform when I come to know that it is very fast and is quite SEO friendly.

My personal view: From the programmers point of view Wordpress is nothing much more that PHP in addition to some inbuilt functions which are called template tags.

I am using Wordpress for many years and I love it very much, once I thought to contribute something to Wordpress and I came to a decision that for an open source project nothing is much more important than documentation and I started doing it.

One thing i would definitely want to share with you that if we want to survive in IT field it is a time to start supporting open source project. I love all open source projects and advice you all to use and help them.
