I'm one of the active developers on the WordPress-Pg project. Details on its progress can be found on the mailing list at SourceForge.
When I'm not at my day job, working on WordPress-Pg, or otherwise having a life, I write to my blog at Carrel.ORG.
As might be guessed, my areas of interest here primarily surround getting WordPress to work easily with other databases and otherwise tidying up the way databases are populated and used. These things make maintaining the PostgreSQL port not necessary or a lot easier respectively. Whether there is community and project developer support for the time I'm spending on these things is something that I still haven't seen a clear answer to. For now I'm just itching my own scratch.
