Hi Joel. There are very few active moderators on the codex right now, in part because the docs team is working on slowly moving most of the information to other locations. One of the moderators used to be very good about welcoming new users, but he has unfortunately not been active for the last few years, and I'm afraid that I've never picked up the habit (partly due to time constraints). Contributions are still very much appreciated, as the docs that have not been migrated yet are still helpful to users. We're just short on volunteers to show that appreciation. :-)

Hey there Jdgrimes. Haha, thanks...didn't expect someone to respond to a joke rant which I thought would look funny in future when someone would see that unanswered question instead of the usual welcome. You probably guess that I've got good prior experience in editing a wiki but I consider myself at the most just an above-novice wordpress user.

Being migrated? Where mainly to, any one specific place? The codex isn't the officially supported go-to-place for help anymore? Joeljpa (talk) 15:02, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Have a look here for more information. The codex still is the go-to-place for help, but at the end of the long migration process, most of the content will be in curated user handbooks. -Jdgrimes (talk) 15:59, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
