Hey, Shorty114, I have been waiting for you to come into the chat to explain it, but here it is. The powers that be LOVED your article so much, they wanted it to be more prominent. Links Manager was an article much in need of revision and contained a very poor version of what you wrote, and since it is in the top of the popular pages, they felt that your version was so FAR better than Link Manager, they wanted yours moved in, replacing the old stuff.
Your article is there in Links Manager getting much better coverage and attention than it would be as Managing Links. Very good things were said about the article, but of course nothing nice was said about you ;P. No, everyone really thought it was professional and VERY well written and asked where more writing by you could be found on the Codex. I said more was coming. Don't let me be wrong. ;-)
I did use the importing information, as you know, to finish off the Import Links SubPanel, a critical page for the new people who need to know what ever page does on the Administration Panels.
