Can't this page be protected so that no random person changes it? --Joshua 06:57, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I guess it would be better if there is a reference to one or more of the tasks each of those contributors were involved with, and a link to their blog/site.
Also, I beleive "Contributors" would be a much better page name than Copyright Holders.
I'm fine with the name change and the extra info. Right now, I'm just using this as a list from people in the cvs logs. Going through it is quite the task, so just getting the names out is my first priority. After I have a list, it'll be much easier to go back and link up their contributions.
How does one get to be on this list? I've got a couple of chunks of code in there... --Ringmaster 00:33, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I'm on that list twice, as "kim" and "Kimmo Suominen". I'd prefer the latter, maybe linked to my blog page, rather than a single Mosquito bug report. But how would the fact be tracked that I'm "Kim" here, "kim" on mosquito, "ruckus" on wp-i18n and the support forums, and "Kimmo Suominen" in real life?
@Joshua: Yes, it could be protected, but I'd rather leave it open so people can add themselves, as long as they link to what it is they did.
@Carthik: I think Contributors could be confused with codex contributors. This list is meant to be those who've helped with the actual wordpress codebase. I'm at a lack of ideas for a more clear name though...
@Ringmaster: You can add your name if you link to a bugreport or cvs/svn commit email from the archives with your name in it. :)
@Kim: Since you have so many different aliases, I'd put them on your user page in the codex, and link to that, with a prominent link to your website. I'd like to get rid of aliases all together in these credits.
