Talk:WordPress Files

Would it be better to just list the meta-level-function of files found in the sub-dirs of the wordpress dir, and list the files in the subdirs after that? There ain't much explaining to do with most of the files in wp-admin, for example, I guess.

If someone comes to this page specifically looking for the file that does X, they're probably not going to appreciate overviews of the directories that might contain that file. Otherwise, I agree that this is a complete misuse of my time.  :)

If you all want to do more with this page, I can make links to the information I can find referencing each of these files, if there are such files. Otherwise, this is nice but it doesn't DO anything, like Ringmaster says.

inline code-doc

IMO this is a perfect example for missing inline code-documentation. There is no way to keep this page up to date for each new WP-Version. This really should be done by entry-comments at the head of each WP-File...

Unfortunatelly no coder seems to do commenting =(--Tordans 08:51, 27 Jan 2007 (UTC)
