Welcome to my Archives for 2013. Please don't edit this but feel free to leave comments on my Discussion (talk) Page.
Hi Michael thanks for the welcome. I'll just be editing little things here and there that are missing or misplaced.

Hi Michael, thanks for the welcome. I was wondering if it's possible to change my username from "JG Visual" to "jg314". Basically, JG Visual is our old company name, so it would be great if I could change it.
Also, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or if I'll be notified of your response. I hope I see your feedback.
Thanks.

Hi Michael,
When editing Codex pages, should I edit first in the sandbox and then make edits to the main page, or edit the main page?
New at contributing to docs and am on the list as well so I apologize for any screwups.
Amanda
Please, at the main page (http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page) change the link to ukrainian version of that page. Put there a new link: "http://codex.wordpress.org/Головна_сторінка". Thanks. Michael Karaim
Hello Michael,
I've been looking through the Codex guidelines, and I don't see any guidelines on what should be marked as a minor edit. I assume spelling/punctuation corrections would be considered minor, but I was surprised not to see it mentioned somewhere in the Codex guidelines. Am I missing it somewhere? Any suggestions as to what should be considered a minor edit?
Thanks.

I noticed he changed the link for Persian Codex from codex.wp-persian.com to his website(codex.karkandeh.ir). That page has nothing in it (blank page), please check.

I turned on the edit toolbar in my preferences, but it didn't appear. So I looked at the browser console and found this error:
[16:26:03.239] ReferenceError: addButton is not defined @ http://codex.wordpress.org/index.php?title=User_talk:MichaelH&action=edit§ion=new:103
I searched the DOM for addButton with the debugger, but didn't find it, so I guess some JS isn't being loaded.
While looking into this issue I also noticed that this stylesheet was returning a 404: http://codex.wordpress.org/skins/codex/FF2Fixes.css
Where should I report this? (Besides here, if this isn't the best place).

Hi,
We are having trouble with posting our request on Polyglots blog. We posted 3 times but there was no confirmation. We think Akismet may be catching the posts.
Because of this, we can't access to repository for Tibetan(bo_IN) language. We have 55% of the translation done and would like to give it to the community.
We have made a section on teams page here: https://codex.wordpress.org/L10n:Localization_Teams#Tibetan_-_.E0.BD.96.E0.BD.BC.E0.BD.91.E0.BC.8B.E0.BD.A1.E0.BD.B2.E0.BD.82_.5Bbo_IN.5D_and_.5Bbo_CN.5D and now look forward for repository and subdomain.
Can you help with that?
Thanks, Ishan, Tseten and James.

Hi,
The Codex page for get_post_type_archive_feed_link() indicates that the 2nd argument, $feed, has no default. The code (at least in 3.6) shows that it will default to the value of get_default_feed(), which I believe is RSS2. May I add that info? (I ask b/c the page is marked as a Rough Draft.)

I wasn't expecting it, but it is a nice touch. My interest is in learning enough to be able to code my own customizations without destroying my site. One of these customizations has to do with pingbacks. I was surprised to see that the Codex tasks lists did not specify redlinks, and that some of the functions I was interested in were red links. I can fill some of these in as I learn, but would I be able to ask questions of the coders / developers involved so I know what I am talking about and don't fail to mention unforeseen consequences? Hi Michael,
Thanks for the welcome note, it's much appreciated! I'm here to hone my technical writing skills and get a little more "real world" documentation experience, and I'm planning on starting fairly small by working on the copyedit list / fixing tagging issues etc. I'm a fairly long-time WordPress user and I know my way around the interface, although I'm not really a developer or coder.
If there's ever a list of titles for potential new articles, I'd be very interested in taking a look.
Best,

This user only contributions are adding his IDE to the list of Text Editors. We should either remove them or add a section with some free IDEs. The latter would also involve adding an IDE entry to Glossary page, although there should be an entry about IDEs anyway.

Hi thank you for the welcome note.
I've started to try to translate my first page (functions reference/ the_time) but I don't understand how to do it. How to edit or if i need to create a page. I'm a little bit lost. Can you give me some advice ? Thank you for your time :)
I read your offer on helping me so this is my question for you:
I find useful some of the templates used in the codex documentation such as http://codex.wordpress.org/Template:Note
I'd like to have templates localised into spanish and basque so it says for example "Nota" or "Oharra" instead of "Note" in English. But I have no idea how to do that. Could you help me?
It would be fine something like these...
http://codex.wordpress.org/Template:es:Nota
http://codex.wordpress.org/Template:eu:Oharra
