Hi Michael, It's for a while that I created a translated version of wordpress codex. I'm working on it and will have good progress soon. Every page I translated I put the link to localized but the main page is not editable, There's other languages there but I couldn't add my language. Any help is appreciated. Thank you! The new template working fine with many pages but have some issues with pages that have '\' in their title. have a look at this : http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_action The output is http://www.isawpi.ir/wiki/Function_Reference%2Fdo_action while it must be http://www.isawpi.ir/wiki/Function_Reference/do_action I don't know how to fix that . thanks for the post on my Talk, and I saw you deleted the images I had uploaded.
Those images were actually part of something I am still writing and it will probably take a bit of time for me to finish it as well. Basically it is a concept I am trying to develop around a type of "more" tag around WordPress excerpts. Typically excerpts that have been manually crafted do or would not show any visual indication that there is more to be had, even if there is a link to the bigger post. In an automatic excerpt, the moretext is added and it makes sense to add it at the end of a line because the line is really truncated. But you can't do that to a non-truncated line, it makes no sense.
So you will need something else, a symbol of one kind or another. And I just was writing on one of the codex page (the examples section for get_the_excerpt() I believe, which makes no sense at all currently, there is a function example for trimming down an already trimmed-down automatic excerpt to a precise number of maximum characters but it doesn't use any filters (and hence wouldn't even work the way it is written), it doesn't distinguish between automatic and manual excerpts, it doesn't respect the moretext filter, etcetera. Furthermore it seems impossible to get a theme to completely respect a given text length since you'll have word wraps at unknown word boundaries, and so on.)
So as part of that writing and developing I had to upload those images and obviously I haven't committed anything so the images were orphans. But I hope you can allow me to at least finish that write-up, if not for the Codex at least it is useful for myself and you can always opt to reject a contribution like that after it is done.

Michael, can you clarify why it's inappropriate to link to sources that provide useful info - for example ... this link http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress#Installing_WordPress_at_AWS only provides specialized scaling info for AWS/WordPress ... it doesn't address simpler installations as the one you removed did http://jeffreifman.com/detailed-wordpress-guide-for-aws/ ... ditto for materials about w3tc/varnish that had been there for a long time.
I had completely revamped the performance/optimization areas in the codex but still had links to more detailed guides.
When the materials are solid and detailed, it seems to do a disservice to the codex community to remove links ...
Michael, I've updated the domain links to pubwp.com. My two cents ... the codex doesn't allow for the layout and richness that a blog does e.g. http://jeffreifman.com/detailed-wordpress-guide-for-aws/install-w3-total-cache/ e.g. image carousels et al. why don't you reactivate jeff@lookahead.io - I'll use that one going forward.

Hi, i read your old comment, about adding related posts to wordpress. When i put code in my single.php (im using _s theme) its shows me related post thumbnail as a link twice, when 2 posts have 2 tags How can i change my loop, or make nested loop to fix this? Here is my code:
