Again, welcome and let us know how we can help you help us on the WordPress Codex. Lorelle 03:35, 28 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Thank you for the contributions

Thanks for helping fill in some blanks on the brand new Function Reference. Any and all contributions are welcome. We work as a team here so I've let the group know about your new additions. For now, starting the functions as a new page is acceptable since the whole section is under development, but normally all new articles are started as subpages under the user's name. We're eager for the functions list to get going, almost no matter what it looks like, so everyone is pitching in on that right now. The "experts" will then swoop in with their tweasers and clean it up, as long as the rest of us do the dirty work. ;-)

If you sign up for the documents mailing list, which gets 1-10 emails a week on average, sometimes even less, you will keep up with a lot of the details going on here that aren't talked about anywhere else. There is a digest version of the mailing list which you can set up to get once a day or maybe even once a week. Anyway, it is NOT a flood of email and we have a lot of people who just stay on board the list to keep up with WordPress activities. But that's up to you. You can read the archives at http://comox.textdrive.com/pipermail/wp-docs/ to see what it is all about.

Thanks again and welcome to the Codex. You can also find some of us on the IRC FreeNode #wordpress chat if you would like some live answers to questions. Lorelle 12:48, 28 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Hey, great work on documenting the get_userdata function. That page will probably make a template for the rest of the function reference. I've asked Lorelle to move it out of your user space into Function_Reference. Cheers. DavidHouse 12:58, 28 Jul 2005 (UTC)

We work fast. It has been moved to a subpage of Function Reference. Whew! Lorelle 13:06, 28 Jul 2005 (UTC)
