Thanks for the help

Thanks JD for the quick help with the Template:fax fix. When User:Xoex asked for help I copied in the Template:de stuff not quite knowing what it did. Much appreciated --MichaelH (talk) 14:57, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

any guides re trac

Thanks for advice regarding robots.txt and seo (submitting to trac). ive never done this before as im not a deep developer, i focus on seo in my day job. any advice how to search trac and submit, any guides out there for it so i don't lose a day looking into it?

thanks

thanks fr tips re trac. i can see joostdevalk (author of the main wordpress seo plugin) has been saying the same recommendation since 2014. i guess we will get there eventually.

plugin activation hooks

Regarding those edits on using register_post_type inside the activation hook, it looks like you were right. I was mislead by reading this article: http://www.andrezrv.com/2014/08/12/efficiently-flush-rewrite-rules-plugin-activation/ Although his approach works, it is not necessary. Re-reading the doc helped me find my real issue, in that I was not using the full namespace inside my activation hook, so the custom post type was never registered.
