Again, welcome and let us know how we can help you help us on the WordPress Codex.

WordPress CMS

We had a request a couple days ago to do an article on using WordPress as a CMS and I told the volunteer to sign up on the list. Obviously, he didn't. Sorry. I should have caught this. Anyway, the article has been started on the user's pages, where we traditionally prefer articles in rough draft form to begin, at User:Lastnode/Wordpress_CMS and he has requested help. Leave a message with the user on their talk page and comments about the article on that article's discussion page.

I will promptly slap that user on the fingers for failing to sign up. Still it's a major undertaking and all help is welcome. It is so large, it might need to have the article divided up into sections. We do a lot of the documentation as a team effort.

Thank you again and welcome. Lorelle 03:00, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Wordpress CMS

Hey Amory, it's actually my bad. So sorry about the mixup. Either way, I started the article at User:Lastnode/Wordpress CMS so please feel free to edit, despite the draft tag. The TODO list, if you may, is on the discussion page for it.

Cheers. Lastnode 02:56, 28 Jun 2005 (UTC)

We Thank You

The Codex Documenation Team and all of WordPress thank you for your time, effort, and contributions during this past Codex Cleanup Week. It has been amazing. Over twenty new documents were added, and more are still in the works that will be released over the next couple of weeks. The entire Codex is now categorized, improving the ability of users to find the related information they are looking for.

The next big Codex-related event is WordPress Backup Week July 23-30. The project will promote backing up your WordPress database and site for the user's protection and further develop the relationship between the Codex and the WordPress Support Forum. Documentation volunteers will be cleaning up and expanding the backup and restore information on the site and Forum volunteers will be readied to help users in the Forum walk through their site backups. We need your help.

We are also starting a page for information and sign up for a variety of Fundraising and Promotions Events for WordPress and your help is needed there, too.

Thanks again for helping.

Lorelle and the whole Cleanup Codex volunteer team
