Again, welcome and let us know how we can help you help us on the WordPress Codex.
Cleanup Week begins Saturday, June 18 and runs until Sunday, June 26, and all help is needed. Check the Task List for a list of things to do, and be sure and read through those Guidelines and check the Codex Styles for examples of how we use code and formatting within the site.
Volunteers are standing by on the #wordpress-docs chat live on the IRC FreeNode channel to help answer any questions or direct you to another task.
Lots to do. Oh, and don't forget - BYOB and Pizza! Lorelle 03:30, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Hey how's it going...I had signed up for WP as a CMS not knowing you were already in progress with it. Let me know how I can be of any help. Amory 02:36, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
The Codex Documenation Team and all of WordPress thank you for your time, effort, and contributions during this past Codex Cleanup Week. It has been amazing. Over twenty new documents were added, and more are still in the works that will be released over the next couple of weeks. The entire Codex is now categorized, improving the ability of users to find the related information they are looking for.
The next big Codex-related event is WordPress Backup Week July 23-30. The project will promote backing up your WordPress database and site for the user's protection and further develop the relationship between the Codex and the WordPress Support Forum. Documentation volunteers will be cleaning up and expanding the backup and restore information on the site and Forum volunteers will be readied to help users in the Forum walk through their site backups. We need your help.
We are also starting a page for information and sign up for a variety of Fundraising and Promotions Events for WordPress and your help is needed there, too.
Thanks again for helping.
Lorelle and the whole Cleanup Codex volunteer team
Lorelle suggested I get in touch with you. I'm working on a Codex page on adding Ads to Wordpress and she thought there would be some crossover with what you are doing. If you have any thoughts to share, feel free to email me - tomhanna@gmail.com - or catch me in #WordPress or on Yahoo (tomhanna1970) when I'm online.
