REMINDER
WE NEED YOU!
Codex Cleanup Week is Saturday, June 18 through Sunday, June 26. This is a major push to clean up the Codex and stuff it full of great documenation so we can relax a little this summer.
Thanks for everything you do! Lorelle 21:51, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)
The article is looking great. Please let me know or mark it when it is ready for editing with a {{Copyedit}} and [[Category:New page created]] and we'll swoop in and give it some links to other documenation, do any modest cleaning for style, and move it into the main pages. Great work and thank you so much!
Also, did you see the notes about expanding and rearranging the Localization and Translating pages? That's on my list of things to do during the Codex Cleanup, but I'd love to have you take a first stab at it. Thanks! Lorelle 12:18, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I took a stab at what we were talking about and here are my doodles.
It's very rough, but it's a start. I think it is much cleaner and easier to understand now. Email me and tell me what you thinks. And thanks for helping Jalenak. A firm hand might be needed ;-)

The Codex Documenation Team and all of WordPress thank you for your time, effort, and contributions during this past Codex Cleanup Week. It has been amazing. Over twenty new documents were added, and more are still in the works that will be released over the next couple of weeks. The entire Codex is now categorized, improving the ability of users to find the related information they are looking for.
The next big Codex-related event is WordPress Backup Week July 23-30. The project will promote backing up your WordPress database and site for the user's protection and further develop the relationship between the Codex and the WordPress Support Forum. Documentation volunteers will be cleaning up and expanding the backup and restore information on the site and Forum volunteers will be readied to help users in the Forum walk through their site backups. We need your help.
We are also starting a page for information and sign up for a variety of Fundraising and Promotions Events for WordPress and your help is needed there, too.
Thanks again for helping.
Lorelle and the whole Cleanup Codex volunteer team
Just a quick note. I think the translation docs will be delayed. We're preparing to evacuate from Hurricane Dennis. So time is now in panic mode for me for a few days. We'll know for sure by Saturday and on the road and heading....away from the storm. I hate living along the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks. Lorelle 20:22, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Moshu, if you're inclined, please come over to User:Schulte/Display WordPress Posts on Non-WordPress Site and bolster this article I've been dabbling with...maybe more examples, depth or anything you can think of...I liked your tutorial and added it to the external links section. --Schulte 14:54, 14 Jul 2005 (CDT)
