Again, welcome and let us know how we can help you help us on the WordPress Codex.
Thanks for signing up for the Cleanup Week. There is a LOT to do, cleaning and otherwise, so don't think that there isn't. We also have to clean up behind the cleaners...;-) Nah. But there is a lot of work to clean up the documentation and maintain the current styles on the Codex which are not found within the older documents. And we still need people to clean up the validation errors. That's a huge task. Lots to do. We need all the help we can get, and thank you for volunteering to make this cleanup possible.
I was checking the task list and I see that you crossed off the "Rotating Images" article on the list. These are only crossed off when they are completed and moved into the main documentation. I haven't been able to locate the document, so if I've overlooked it, please let me know. We have a lot of activity right now and I'm worried about overlooking something.
If you are just starting the article, we need to leave the strike out off.
Documents within the WordPress Lessons have very special criteria and guidelines, different from the rest of the Codex, and I monitor these very carefully because of this. We request that these articles be first set in a user's page subpage by putting a link from your user page to the article like this [[User:Name/Name of Article]] rather than in the general documentation so they can be reviewed.
Thanks for the help. We are desperate for these article topics and I look forward to reviewing the article and preparing it for release within the main documentation. With your help, WordPress users will get the help they need and answers to the many questions they have.

The Codex Documenation Team and all of WordPress thank you for your time, effort, and contributions during this past Codex Cleanup Week. It has been amazing. Over twenty new documents were added, and more are still in the works that will be released over the next couple of weeks. The entire Codex is now categorized, improving the ability of users to find the related information they are looking for.
The next big Codex-related event is WordPress Backup Week July 23-30. The project will promote backing up your WordPress database and site for the user's protection and further develop the relationship between the Codex and the WordPress Support Forum. Documentation volunteers will be cleaning up and expanding the backup and restore information on the site and Forum volunteers will be readied to help users in the Forum walk through their site backups. We need your help.
We are also starting a page for information and sign up for a variety of Fundraising and Promotions Events for WordPress and your help is needed there, too.
Thanks again for helping.
Lorelle and the whole Cleanup Codex volunteer team
You signed up to do a WordPress Lesson on rotating images and I just wanted to check the status and tell you that a topic in the Forum has some interesting information related to this topic : http://wordpress.org/support/topic/38095. Thanks! Lorelle 19:05, 3 Jul 2005 (UTC)
To help users find themes appropriate to their needs, we are asking Theme authors and volunteers to create a keyword description list for all the Themes on the Using Themes/Theme List.
These are not reviews but searchable keywords. Examples include:
Specifically, users need to know:
Thank you for helping us flesh out the Theme list and help direct users to the Themes they need. And thank you for your valuable contributions to the WordPress Community. Lorelle 22:23, 30 Jul 2005 (UTC)
