Again, welcome and let us know how we can help you help us on the WordPress Codex. Hello Mathias. Thanks for contributing to Codex. If you have any question please don't hesitate to ask. MichaelH (talk) 15:33, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
The Codex Documenation Team and all of WordPress thank you for your time, effort, and contributions during this past Codex Cleanup Week. It has been amazing. Over twenty new documents were added, and more are still in the works that will be released over the next couple of weeks. The entire Codex is now categorized, improving the ability of users to find the related information they are looking for.
The next big Codex-related event is WordPress Backup Week July 23-30. The project will promote backing up your WordPress database and site for the user's protection and further develop the relationship between the Codex and the WordPress Support Forum. Documentation volunteers will be cleaning up and expanding the backup and restore information on the site and Forum volunteers will be readied to help users in the Forum walk through their site backups. We need your help.
We are also starting a page for information and sign up for a variety of Fundraising and Promotions Events for WordPress and your help is needed there, too.
Thanks again for helping.
Lorelle and the whole Cleanup Codex volunteer team
As you know, your help on the Codex is very welcome, but if you read through the guidelines, you will see that we ask people to start article drafts on User Page subpages until ready to be moved out into the Codex. An article was started on this topic a long time ago and it was moved to the Using Permalinks and FAQ articles. Possibly these links should also be added there. I know the guidelines aren't clear, but they will be in the next few days. The docs team is still cleaning up a lot from the Cleanup Week and we're looking for loose ends that might have gotten missed. Thanks. Lorelle 14:14, 2 Jul 2005 (UTC)
To help users find themes appropriate to their needs, we are asking Theme authors and volunteers to create a keyword description list for all the Themes on the Using Themes/Theme List.
These are not reviews but searchable keywords. Examples include:
Specifically, users need to know:
Thank you for helping us flesh out the Theme list and help direct users to the Themes they need. And thank you for your valuable contributions to the WordPress Community. Lorelle 22:22, 30 Jul 2005 (UTC)
On Version 1.6 you left the following comment - "And in fact, it seems as in 1.6, there is a nice little checkbox saying "Execute page content between <?php and ?>" on the post page. How cool is that?" - Are you sure this is true - I don't see this anywhere in my svn trunk install - you sure your not seeing something added by a plugin?? --Westi 09:46, 3 Sep 2005 (GMT)
